The trailer of Shanghai Super Kids (music by Pierre Funck), a joint project of the CAST students of the Zurich University of the Arts and the Communication University of China, will be premiered on September 6th at the Basel-Geneva-Zurich Pavilion of the Expo 2010 in Shanghai.

The film Das Leichenmahl by Marisa Koch (with music by Pierre Funck) will be screened on Friday August 13th at 9:15 pm at the “Kurzfilmtage Bülach”.

This year’s bachelor and master graduation films of the Zurich University of the Arts, including the film Ronaldo by Jan Mettler with music by Pierre Funck, will be screened on June 16th, 21st and 22nd in the ZHdK Vortragssaal, Ausstellungsstraße 60.

“The Winter's Tale” by William Shakespeare, a theatre project of AG Theater Rämibühl with music by Pierre Funck, is going to be premiered on April 7th. Further performances on April 9th, 10th, 13th, 14th, 16th and 17th at 7:30 pm.

Die Hütte: Five episodes of a short horror film are going to frighten the audience. The first episode will be posted on January 11th on frischfilm.sf.tv. Produced by the CAST students of the Zurich University of the Arts; music by Pierre Funck.

Two films with music by Pierre Funck will be shown at the 45th Solothurn Film Festival:

• Winter Sonata (animation film by Yves Gutjahr)

• Little Eden (animation film by Nino Christen)

Little Eden has been nominated by SSA and SUISSIMAGE for the best animation film audience award. Screening on Saturday, January 23rd, 2010, 2:00 pm, Reithalle Solothurn.

The animation film Winter Sonata by Yves Gutjahr, with music by Pierre Funck, has been awarded two prizes:

• Best student film at the animation film festival „Balkanima ’09“ in Belgrade
• Special Mention at the 13th International Short Film Festival Winterthur

On October 28th at 6:15 pm, the book and DVD “Stellen wir diese Waffe in unseren Dienst”, edited by Schweizerisches Sozialarchiv, will be presented in the cinema Uto Studio in Zurich, with live music by Pierre Funck that had been commissioned for one of the films.
