The film Flirt by Rahel Gerber (music by Pierre Funck) has been awarded the “Berner Filmpreis” in the category “best animation film”.

During this autumn, music journalist Isabelle Wiltgen presents Luxembourgish film composers in her series „Musek fir ze kucken“ (“music to look at”) at the Luxembourg radio station Radio 100,7. A portrait of Pierre Funck (in Luxembourgish) will be broadcast on Wednesday 11 November at 1:30 p.m. (replay at 7:30 p.m.) – details here.

The Grand Prix „Best Film“ of the short film festival Shortynale in Klosterneuburg (Austria) has been awarded to Alfonso by Jan-Eric Mack (music by Pierre Funck) 

The short film Flirt by Rahel Gerber (music by Pierre Funck) shows how a man who, while hanging up his laundry, sees how easily his shirt brushes against an anonymous dress. He’s closer than ever to his bliss. The film is in competition at the Festival d’Annecy, which is regarded as the biggest and most siginificant animation film festival in the world.

The film Elite by Piet Baumgartner (music by Pierre Funck) has been awarded the prize “best short fiction film”  by the jury of the 16th Landshut short film festival.

For the 18th edition of “Pink Apple”, director Piet Baumgartner made a cheeky trailer about the festival’s coming of age.
